Originally developed as a meditative technique to access inner stillness and wisdom, Yoga Nidra has evolved into a widely embraced healing art, appreciated today for its ability to restore balance and peace in our fast-paced world. This training invites you to journey into the timeless essence of Yoga Nidra, blending its ancient roots with modern insights to bring an experience of oneness, rest, and reconnection with the heart & soul.

Designed for yoga teachers, aspiring instructors, and Yoga Nidra enthusiasts, this training offers a deep immersion into the art of guiding Yoga Nidra. Whether you aim to enhance your teaching toolkit or simply immerse yourself in this healing practice, this course will provide the skills, insights, and confidence to share Yoga Nidra with others—or deepen your own experience of it.
This training will equip you to confidently share the gift of Yoga Nidra with others, helping your students experience profound rest and the joy of reconnecting with their whole selves. Together, we’ll explore how Yoga Nidra awakens the heart to receive the world with open, childlike curiosity and love.
In this 30 hour training & Immersion, led by Annemarie Lombard Puntschart, you will explore the unique practice of Yoga Nidra, learn the art of guiding others, and understand how this practice of "conscious sleep" restores the wholeness and spaciousness of our true being.
Savasana, often called the most essential yoga pose, is a restorative position that brings profound relaxation and relief. Studies show that Savasana calms the central nervous system, reduces blood pressure, anxiety, and stress, while relieving fatigue, tension, and enhancing sleep. Yoga Nidra, a meditative journey performed entirely in Savasana, further expands these benefits by deeply relaxing the body, mind, and spirit.
Yoga Nidra invites us to experience the world in its pure form—without judgment, just as we did as children, seeing each experience as part of the boundless essence of Creation. This practice reminds us of the vastness of being and the freedom that comes from returning to this original source of love, peace, and oneness.
This is a 30-Hour Yoga Alliance certified Training which counts towards continuing education hours with the Yoga Alliance International (YACEP).

Introduction to Yoga Nidra

What else is included:
• Live Sessions: 15 hours of in-depth lectures and practice with Annemarie, in Person, in Studio, in Vienna• Recorded Practices: 12 Hours ONLine & recorded sessions to review and practice at your own pace• Self-Practice: 3-hours home-based practice assignments with feedback and evaluations• Manual: Comprehensive manual with resources, practice scripts, and guidelines for teaching
This course includes 12 weekly Yoga Nidra & Group recap ONLine sessions designed to deepen your experiential understanding and practice, following the inStudio Training in Vienna. These sessions will be held LIVE on Mondays at 8 PM and will be available as recordings for 7 days afterward, ensuring flexibility for participants who cannot attend live.
Each of these ONLine session will begin with a focused “learning nugget,” introducing a key concept or experiential topic that aligns with the broader themes of the teacher training. These learning nuggets provide valuable insights into Yoga Nidra’s transformative potential, serving as a foundation for both personal growth and teaching development. Additionally, some of the LIVE ONLine sessions will include short weekly Discussion Forums, creating opportunities to engage with fellow participants, get feedback and Q&A with Annemarie, as continued mentorship.
