Urban Day Retreat: Acroyoga, Handstands + massage

Start the new year with a day full of movement! On Saturday, January 16th, we offer a one-day urban retreat in our studio in Vienna. You'll be spending the day doing acroyoga, yoga, inversions, and connecting with other people. We end the day with a Thai massage exchange to ensure you go home feeling relaxed :)

Acroyoga level: beginner and intermediate. The workshops will be tailored to the group's level with progressions and variations. So whether you are completely new to acroyoga or already have done flows and first dynamics, you’re in a good place.

Important: you don't need a partner to join! Come on your own and find new friends to train with. That being said it can be beautiful to bring a friend, partner or siblings to try something new together.

Yoga and inversion workshops are open level. If you have any doubts about whether you can join, send us a message and we'll talk about it.

What to expect:

8 hours of workshops - thoughtful yoga sequence, warm up and techniques to keep your acro practice sustainable - group activities and games to connect with the other participants - new acro flows and creative movement - in-depth workshop to get upside down in headstand, handstand or forearm stand - delicious snacks and tea for in between - cool down and (partner) stretches- Thai massage exchange

• 09:00-10:00 morning yoga
• 10:30-12:30 Acroyoga Workshop
• 12:30-14:30 Lunch break
• 14.30 - 17.00 inversions & second acroyoga workshop
• 17.30 - 19.00 Cooldown, Thai massage + partner stretches

Who are we?

Hannah & Alexis, passionate about yoga, acroyoga and bringing people together. In September 2022, we founded Acroyoga Vienna and have hosted weekly acroyoga classes and workshops in Vienna. Our aim is to share our love for the beautiful art of balancing each other and connecting with new people in Vienna.

Places are limited to make sure we have enough space to train.

Please note that lunch & dinner are not included, but we will provide healthy and yummy snacks. You can bring your own lunch to eat at the venue or go to one of the many restaurants available in the neighbourhood.
